Ruakura EV Chargers are good to go

We.EV in partnership with Waitomo Group, are pleased to announce the installation of two fast public electric vehicle (EV) chargers at Waitomo Ruakura.

The 160kW chargers have a combined total of three CCS handles and one CHAdeMO handle across four EV carparks. The maximum charge rate received will be determined by the vehicle, battery pack voltage, ambient conditions and the current charge state.

These chargers are activated using an OpenLoop account via the App or RFID tag.  RFID users will need to select ‘RFID’ from the charger screen.

We.EV will continue to roll out chargers to the Waikato and beyond to support the wider community as the uptake of EVs increases.
